Marc Marquez recently added a stunning Audi to his collection, following the signing of his latest lucrative sponsorship deal.
The six-time MotoGP champion received the keys to an Audi RS6 Avant, valued at £115,000 before any customizations!
Joining him in the deal, Alex Marquez also received an Audi RS4, which comes with a price tag of around £73,000.
The connection between Ducati and Audi, both part of the Volkswagen Group, made the sponsorship process smooth for the Marquez brothers.
“We are extremely proud to have them as Audi ambassadors, especially as they ride a Ducati,” commented Audi’s managing director, José Miguel Aparicio.
Marc Marquez was more familiar with driving a BMW, a prize he acquired during his championship-winning days with Honda.
However, his new RS6 Avant is an impressive machine, boasting a V8 twin-turbo petrol engine delivering 630 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
The Marquez brothers have wrapped up their inaugural MotoGP round as teammates at Gresini Ducati.
In a notable performance, Marc finished in an impressive P4 during Sunday’s grand prix, signaling a promising step towards the front of the pack.
Marc made a bold move by leaving the most lucrative contract in MotoGP with Honda, opting instead for a shot at a more competitive bike this season.
While he has made it clear that he isn’t racing for free, it’s reported that the majority of his income will be from the substantial sponsors he attracts.
Audi, through their collaboration with Ducati, has now joined the ranks of Marquez’s sponsors as well.
